Product detailed description
The Bat Guide: you do not need to see the whole path
Bats set out when the light begins to fade, yet they move with remarkable confidence. They do not rely on sight alone. Instead, they read their surroundings through subtle signals and use them to find their way.
In the Guides Collection, the bat represents perception, orientation in uncertain situations and trust in your own judgement. It is a reminder that we do not always need every answer in advance. Sometimes it is enough to pay close attention to what is right in front of us.
Warm natural Baltic amber creates a striking contrast with an animal traditionally associated with the night. The sterling silver bat gives the earrings a distinctive, slightly mysterious character, while the amber brings warmth and light.
Every piece of natural amber has its own colour, pattern and small natural details, so no two earrings are ever exactly alike.
The Bat Guide can be a personal reminder for times when the way ahead is unclear, but there is still enough to make the next decision.
The Bat truth:
You do not need to see the whole path. You only need to recognise the next step.
Material:
- Natural Baltic amber
- Sterling Silver Ag 925/1000
If you have the pendant as a gift, you don't have to worry about the gift wrapping anymore.

What is amber
Baltic amber, also called succinite, comes from various species of the now extinct conifer Pinus succinifera. There are estimated to be up to around 350 species of conifer. Baltic amber has the highest proportion of succinic acid of all the species. It accounts for up to 8 % of its total weight. It is also to succinic acid that the health benefits of amber are attributed. It is also supposed to calm the mind and promote the ability to concentrate.
The richest deposits are estimated to be in the Kaliningrad region, as well as in northern Poland, Lithuania and along the Baltic coast. Its age is estimated at approximately 28 to 54 million years. It is older than the Baltic Sea itself.
Baltic amber tends to be transparent, semi-transparent or completely opaque under a yellow-brown layer of oxidised crust, called milky. It offers a wide range of colours, from snow-white to beige, lemon yellow, honey, orange, red and brown. The Polish scientist Adam Chetnik, in his Little Dictionary of Amber Varieties, defined around 200 variations.
But the variety of colours and forms of this organic gemstone does not end there. If you are interested in the world of amber, read more about it here.
