Product detailed description
Bead bracelets are a classic that never goes out of style. They go well with other bead bracelets and are comfortable to wear.
Amber is also lightweight and does not feel cold like some minerals. Over time, its color becomes richer and the pattern of the beads more pronounced. This is because it is a gemstone of organic origin, similar to coral, for example.
In Asian cultures, amber is one of the treasures of Buddhism. Buddhists (and others) believe that it is a gemstone with a soul. It calms the mind and aids concentration during meditation.

What is amber?
Baltic amber, also known as succinite, comes from various species of extinct conifers Pinus succinifera. It is estimated that there were around 350 species of conifers. Baltic amber has the highest proportion of succinic acid of all types. It makes up to 8% of its total weight.
The richest deposits are estimated to be in the Kaliningrad region, followed by northern Poland, Lithuania, and along the Baltic Sea coast. Its age is estimated to be approximately 28 to 54 million years. It is older than the Baltic Sea itself.
Baltic amber is usually transparent, semi-transparent, or completely opaque, known as milky, under a yellow-brown layer of oxidized crust. It offers a wide range of colors, from snow white to beige, lemon yellow, honey, orange, red, and brown. Polish scientist Adam Chetnik defined around 200 variations in his Small Dictionary of Amber Varieties.
But the diversity of this organic gemstone does not end with its colors and shapes. Nature has really played with amber and "painted" thousands of beautiful, highly original designs on it. It could easily be exhibited in the Louvre alongside the world's most famous painters.
How to care for amber jewelry:
Clean your jewelry regularly.
The best way is to wipe it with a 100% cotton cloth or classic denim. Amber can be cleaned dry or with a cloth dipped in lukewarm water. If necessary, you can use a little mild soap or detergent, such as Jar. However, be sure to rinse the amber thoroughly and dry it with a cotton cloth.
Do not use microfiber or any synthetic polishing cloths. Never use ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners, or chemicals for cleaning. If you need to clean the silver part of the jewelry, use a cloth designed for cleaning silver, but avoid the amber parts.
Store your jewelry carefully
Ideally, amber jewelry should be stored in a cotton or silk bag after removal. This will protect it from scratches. We do not recommend storing amber jewelry together with other jewelry, especially jewelry with sharp metal edges, as this increases the risk of scratching and damaging the surface.
Protect your amber from chemicals
Amber is generally sensitive to chemicals such as perfumes, hairsprays, and disinfectants. Frequent contact with these substances can cause a whitish coating to form on its surface or make it dull. In such cases, the jewelry would have to be re-cut and polished.
The colours in the photos may differ slightly from the actual colors depending on your screen settings.
