This necklace is made of natural yellow and white Baltic amber which is one of the rarer types. It is strung on a durable nylon cord and finished with a clasp made of gold-plated sterling silver (Ag 925/1000).

Writings by Pliny the Elder and Hippocrates already mention the positive effects of amber. Baltic amber contains 3 to 8% of succinic acid, which is known for its bioactive properties. Amber also has a natural negative electrical charge, which allows it to ionize the body when worn against the skin, helping to balance electrolytes. It is said to have antibacterial and antiseptic effects.

Amber tinctures are traditionally used to boost the immune system, relieve cold and fever symptoms, and ease muscle and joint pain.
