Remember the scene in Jurassic Park with the mosquito trapped in amber? Just like that, this piece of fossilized tree resin preserved a real prehistoric insect—detailed, unique, and tens of millions of years old. A tiny fly became caught in the sticky resin, which nature sealed and fossilized so perfectly that it has survived through the ages.
Each piece of amber like this is one of a kind—no two are ever the same, and each holds its own story. You're holding a small fragment of the ancient world, a tangible link between the present and a time long past.

Product detailed description
Amber is nature’s time capsule, preserving tiny traces of life on Earth from tens of millions of years ago. It forms from fossilized tree resin that, as it flowed from ancient trunks, occasionally trapped small creatures—most often insects. Over time, as the resin hardened and fossilized, it created an oxygen-free environment ideal for preservation.
Thanks to these unique conditions, we can still see incredibly fine details of prehistoric flies, beetles, wasps, spiders, and other tiny lifeforms—sometimes even at a microscopic level. Amber also naturally contains compounds that slow down decomposition, helping retain internal structures in exceptional condition.
Each inclusion amber is completely one of a kind. No two are ever alike—each one captures a fleeting moment from a forest that existed long before us. For many, it’s not just a scientific curiosity, but also a powerful symbol of both the impermanence and endurance of life.
The amber piece comes in a clear plastic box with a built-in magnifying lid for easier viewing. It's fixed to the bottom with transparent adhesive so it stays stable and well-visible from all angles.
Please note: The insect was photographed using a small handheld microscope.
Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
