Lava stone and amber have much in common.
Both are believed to possess protective and healing properties. They help relieve pain, promote relaxation, and calm the mind. And with a calm mind, we can experience the joy of life more deeply.
Lava stone, with its strong connection to the Earth, is often seen as a stone of rebirth. Amber, as fossilized tree resin, was once a living substance that protected trees from pests. Its ability to endure for tens of millions of years reminds us of the resilience and strength of life itself.

Dominican amber comes from a tree – the prehistoric and now extinct Hymenea protera legume. It is one of the rarest types of amber. It is unique in its color and optical properties. It reflects the green and blue waves of the light spectrum, which is why it appears green or blue on a black background. However, the color of the amber itself is yellow. More precisely, it ranges across a very wide palette, from light yellow to orange and reddish brown.
How to care for amber jewelry
Clean your jewelry regularly.
The best way is to wipe it with a 100% cotton cloth or classic denim. Amber can be cleaned dry or with a cloth dipped in lukewarm water. If necessary, you can use a little mild soap or detergent, such as Jar. However, be sure to rinse the amber thoroughly and dry it with a cotton cloth.
Do not use microfiber or any synthetic polishing cloths. Never use ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners, or chemical agents for cleaning. If you need to clean the silver part of the jewelry, use a cloth designed for cleaning silver, but avoid the amber parts.
Store your jewelry carefully.
Ideally, amber jewelry should be stored in a cotton or silk bag after removal. This will protect it from scratches. We do not recommend storing amber jewelry together with other jewelry, especially those with sharp metal edges, as this increases the risk of scratches and damage to the surface.
Protect your amber from chemicals
Amber is generally sensitive to chemicals such as perfumes, hairsprays, and disinfectants. Frequent contact with these substances can cause a whitish coating to form on its surface or make it dull. In such cases, the jewelry would need to be re-cut and re-polished.
The colours in the photos may vary slightly from the actual colors depending on your screen settings.
